Stay close to people who feel like sunshine.
… just like that it is my last day in Alaska. I am feeling extra blessed after spending time with my favourite human. ❤️ Tomorrow I am making my way back home for a week of quality time with Beau 🐶 + unpacking many suitcases. This pic is another from Greece + I love it! Paros was so windy so we just had to work with it. 😂 I loved exploring the island, meeting the locals + did I already say eating all the food!?! @discover.greece#DiscoverGreece#BlogtrottersGR#ad 📷 @flaneriephoto

It feels SO GOOD to be lost in the right direction ✨
For the first time in a long time I feel like I don't have things figured out and have very little control over where I'm going. When my corporate career was basically all I had, it felt safe and predictable, but so damn uninspiring. Today my life is so unpredictable -- how exciting & scary is that? It's not always easy to keep pursuing your dreams when you face so many roadblocks... but it feels SO GOOD to be lost in the right direction! ✨
I would love to hear from YOU if you feel inspired by what you do today and if not, what would be your dream job/life! ✨
Thank you @merzouga_luxury_desert_camps__ for having us!

My heart is so full today 💙 I had the BEST birthday yesterday, climbing and dirtbagging it up with some of my best friends.
This photo is me surprising the heck out of myself making two moves on Boysize, a v-freaking-7!!!! I’m nowhere near sending, but the fact that I could even pull off the ground and make moves felt so freakin cool.
If there’s anything I’ve learned this past year, it’s that our minds and bodies and spirits are so much more capable than we think they are. We’re all so much stronger than we know, and I’m so thankful that climbing has helped me learn that about myself this year.
My only goal for 27 is to give myself more credit. To be kinder to myself, and to always remember that self-love is the most important kind of love.
Something tells me 27 is gonna be the best year yet 🤗
Heyo it’s me. I’ve got a lot of new pees on here so I figured I’d take this time to properly introduce myself and tell y’all a bit about me. So here’s five random facts:
1. I’m a wild child, born and raised practically in the woods (I lived next to a state park).
2. I’m a recently converted plant-based eater. I used to think Mother Nature had it right with that circle of life thing, but then I realized that being terrified and in pain sucks and I didn’t want to put any animals through that. Maybe in the past we had to kill things to survive, but things are different now. It’s possible to survive on a plant-based diet.
3. My hair is 100% natural, aka I’ve used nothing but water to wash it since July. And it looks so clean that people don’t believe me but it’s true.
4. Yoga and rock climbing are my two loves. Training the mind and the body to work in cohesion and push beyond the limits of what I thought possible is off the charts wild.
5. Post-college my dream is to either live the dirt bag climber van life or be off in some European city making a living outside by ski instructing, white water guiding, or something else equally rad.
Happy Sunday guys, if you know me well, you know how passionate I am about traveling, connecting with people, learning about different cultures and experiencing new adventures. I often get compliments on my outfits which are a collection of places I’ve been, so I decided to create a page where I can share all those experiences with you, and where you can purchase the goods I find while exploring new cultures.

AT | It’s turning dark so early again. A reminder of how long Ive been living outside. What a gift. The dollar general decorative paper plates changed from shamrocks to pool parties to fireworks to #2 pencils to ghouls and witches. In the beginning, I felt the final sting of winter before it melted. The ground was icy and unforgiving. I watched the graveyards of sleeping trees and rotting stumps and spiced mulch of dead leaves shake off the last bit of snow and wake up. I witnessed the ferns unfurl and stretch their fingers out to touch the sun’s rays. The rains of spring left everything soaked for over a month but then the buds unraveled—I’ll never forget the thrill of seeing the first few wildflowers. In full swing, summer hummed: Sugar bursted from the flowers, waking the pollinators. The heat waves rolled through us hikers. We swam through it not knowing where our sweat stopped and the humidity started. Durning the summer solstice, I listened to a heavy rain pour and Treebeard sing a Gaelic about how merry the sun is. The seasons tunneled through me: Sometimes disheartening, sometimes dampening my spirit, sometimes causing me to laugh out of joy/pain/disbelief, sometimes causing me to cry for the same reasons. Then, in Maine, I watched the beginning of the last season—a fall back to the earth. A return. What a gift. I hope I never wash off all of the wild.
Yesterday was an incredible day for this woman. My wife finished her biggest race yet and was the first female finisher. Getting to pace her for her last ten miles of the 55 mile race was truly an amazing experience. I got to witness first hand how incredibly strong and relentless she is. I already knew she was strong, but dang, she’s freakishly strong. She didn’t express much pain until she repeatedly stubbed her toes and dropped a few choice words and then just kept going. Love you @annakalbrecht, keep staying strong and focused.
Also huge congrats to all the participants and finishers at yesterday’s race! And thank you to volunteers that made it all happen.
SEATTLE VIDEO!!! Full link in bio. I’ve been so excited to finish this and share it! We loved Seattle and had such a blast with our friends. Thankfully we lucked out and didn’t have any rain or bad traffic!
Arrived in Seattle yesterday night, and it felt like coming home. Today we hiked to Rachel lake, and the fall colors were amazing. Got lucky with the weather too, it was sunny all day!
Good to see @louisajanssen again and meet @mikomunchkin for the first time! ❤️

No rainbows without the rain! Although it kind of feels like all this rain is about to drown us...will I ever be able to hang my washing outside again?! Some serious stuff to ponder this morning 😂⠀
