Hello from Idaho! @davidflinner and I are visiting friends in Sun Valley for a fly fishing trip this week and I’m giddy-excited for the beautiful fall colors. (I’m also pleased as punch to find the perfect cowboy boots @poloralphlauren! 🐴)
Apparently I have a thing for sitting on fences 🤔 these pictures are from a foggy rainy day that made our hair frizzy 😂😂
Each piece we make comes from Nashville. Not only because that's where we're from, but because they are made from wood rescued from this city's century old homes. Interested in a commission or custom piece of furniture? Email us! [email protected]
I may be a tiny bit biased but I think they’re kind of perfect 😍💕 #twins
The first time I met these two was their wedding day and it was pouring rain outside. Today was rainy and grey until minutes before the session when the sun broke through the clouds. The joy these two bring to the world is completely contagious and I’m very honored to call them friends.
These old stone cottages in Aldinga, South Australia are so charming, and unpretentious. Made beautiful by the natural materials used in their construction, and the vigour of the geranium that covers the basic wire fence.
I paint a lot....& quite a variety of subjects too. My brain processes a lot and it feels it has something to “say” (make you see) in different things I’ve experienced or wish to.
This bum confetti party is up at the @thewellcollab and for sale on my website for $300 and I think (you’ll have to correct me if I’m wrong for the website rings truth) is 16 x 20. I truly desire to see a community of women loving each other gracefully and tenderly just as much as they love each other honestly and fiercely. #lifewithfawn#iamallwoman

(22) 14/10/2018 Scambuster Run 2018. Was supposed to run with my bestie, but she had to attend to other engagements. So I ran the 6km alone. Wasn’t feeling so good last night, I almost wanted to skip it. But I’m glad I didn’t. 6km done and ran 5 weeks in a row.
Sorry for the radio silence! Been recovering from #sinusitis since arriving back in the UK but I have got tons of cool snaps still to show you from #switzerland including this baby of me @huusgstaad with a #cocktail!
I wanted to talk about seasonal (winter) sadness! As a lover of all things cozy, the arrival of winter makes me happy. I love when it gets chilly enough outside for a winter coat, hats & scarves. It makes me happy to be sipping hot coffee while I watch snowflakes cover the ground. But sadly, my brain doesn’t love the lack of light and that can be a very real challenge. It can make me feel sluggish, sad, unmotivated and lacklustre about life. I’ve implemented a few things in the last couple of years that helped a lot!
I read somewhere that about 5% of people suffer from seasonal depression and if you’re one of them, it’s good to know that you’re not alone! To be honest, I think there are more people affected by this that maybe wouldn’t call themselves depressed, but that still feel some negative effects of lack of sunshine. Here’s 5 things that have helped me:
1. A therapeutic light. (The one I use is from Verilux and I ordered it from Amazon.) Honestly, this is the big one. Using this daily during the winter literally makes all the difference. I feel a noticeable shift in how my brain is functioning if I use it for at least 20 minutes a day. I try to use it in the morning when I’m working on my laptop and then I set it up in the kitchen so I get some extra light while I’m making breakfast.
2. Getting outside daily. Getting some daylight is so good!
3. Diffusing and applying oils (citrus oils are some of my favourite uplifting ones)! This is one of the reasons I started with oils as they’ve been so helpful.
4. St. John’s Wort extract in capsules. These have natural mood lifting properties.
5. Ningxia Red, an nutritional beverage that helps me with energy!
I hope you find these tips helpful! Getting more daylight is really, really key as well as adding other things into your routine that help your brain chemistry humming along. Please feel free to reach out to me if you want to chat about this! (Repost from earlier this year because I felt this seemed to be a good time to bring it up again!)
Even on the journey, her heart is right at home, wrapped in the arms of Hope, she knows she’s not alone.// Once again, a successful adventure with E. With busy schedules we’re finding opportunities to find new adventures in our city, and this one did not disappoint. Hit us up if you want some Spokane adventures.
A little bit of squishy love for your Saturday night feed 💕
In a diptych painting, the image is divided into half and displayed side by side. It can be separated onto 2 panels, 2 canvases, or in this case, 2 earrings. Look closer and you will notice the earrings are slightly different. They were created from the same painting, The Dancers.
PS These JUST hit the website! Tell your earring loving friends!
