This is why most people hide who they truly are and follow the crowd. They are trying to live up to what society thinks is a perfect person. Husband, money, house, material success... So you push away the part of you that is angry, sad, jealous, ugly, shameful... So you create a hell for yourself where you never feel like you’re “good” enough even when you are a beautiful spirit.
Self awareness and healing is the abundance of happiness you are looking for. When you understand who you are and love all parts of you “good” or “bad” while healing you leave the hell. Because now you are being your authentic self.-Tisha 🦋
Rewind to April 2016 - A girl who thought she was happy. She was about to graduate from college with the degree she always dreamt she would. But she didn’t know where she was going to go from there. She was extremely stressed out and had some serious anxiety. She would try and put on a happy face when she was around people but deep down she knew she wasn’t happy. She was scared for the future and wasn’t happy with herself. To cope she indulged in maybe a little to much fast food comfort food. She figured “When I move home things will get better! So I’ll start then!” but she didn’t.
Two years later in April of 2018 she finally started to take care of herself because she had someone from her past show her she was worth it! @danielleannreim
Fast forward to November 2018 - A girl who looks back at herself 2 years ago and can’t believe the difference. Such simple changes and she’s learning to love herself and her life. Such positive changes in the people she lets around her. She’s learned you CAN choose positivity over negativity! She has even learned to love the girl on the left because there is so much to learn from her. 30 lbs and 2 pants sizes down in 8 months. All from making the decision she was worth taking care of herself. She was worth choosing to see herself with positivity and love. 💙
First night time run last night! I thought it might be a bit scary but with my head torch when needed it was magical. It was a cold crisp night. The air really hit the back of my throat and nostrils. Waking me right up and out of my tired brain fog post nights. I heard an owls hooting the local pigs snuffling, and because your senses are heightened in the dark the country houses with their suppers cooking and their fires burning was so comforting a smell. The hardest bit getting up and out the door!! X
