🌊🌴💙💚 #twosday#filosofandoando#natureinspiration#oceanpalmtrees
“Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.” -Thank you Mr. Frost. And Ponyboy.
So many butterflies enjoying the sunshine today and feeding up before hibernating 💕🦋💕

Welcome to Khiva. When I discovered this ancient city of Uzbekistan dating back to the beginning of the Christian era, I completely fell in love with it. And what is not to fall in love with there? The city is full of picturesque sights including this amazing cityscape. I remember sitting there on a rooftop, the view was simply breathtaking. It was one of these moments when it felt as if time had stopped and it didn’t matter where I was in the world.
This is my view when I'm working. It's nothing super special, especially on this grey and rainy day. It's just my backyard, but i love that I live in an area where I can look out my windows and see trees and grass. We get squirrels and bunnies that come into our yard. We wake up to birdsong through our open windows in the summer. We see butterflies and bees on the flowers when they're in bloom. We grow grapes and blueberries and raspberries out there.
We're incredibly blessed to live in an area where we can enjoy nature and still have the conveniences of modern society close by. We only live a few minutes from a grocery store and a gas station. We're only a few minutes in the other direction from our downtown shopping area. We live very close to my daughter's best friend. We're minutes from family. We really have the best of both worlds.
What is your area like? What's your view from work?
Had an amazing day experiencing Holyrood Park in beautiful Edinburgh. At one point, I just took a 5 minutes break in the fluffy thick grass, on my back, just taking it all in and watching the sky (will definitely repeat that). We tend to forget that we have a connection to nature (as human beings) and the more stressed we are in our day to day life, the more we crave it. This wonderful place is in the middle of the city. Can you imagime having access to this 24/7? Whenever you feel like going for a hike to actually have this at your fingertips? I think it's brilliant.
Have you been here? What did you think? If you haven't been hetr yet, I recommend this spot with all my heart.
