Our last visit to Sukamade was about a week ago. We brought some books that we collected from some friends. Since we knew the condition of the school in Sukamade especially the library we need to do something.
So we came up with our idea that we called #ProjectPenyu (penyu is translated as sea turtle in Indonesian). Our idea is simple. We want to raise an awareness to all people in the village especially the children at school to read. So we initiated making a reading corner outside the school.
Until we met Fauzan, a guy on the picture. He is a volunteer teacher from Banyuwangi Mengajar who was sent to teach student at elementary school in Sukamade. He was very enthusiastic and fully supported our #ProjectPenyu. Along with him Warga Dunia will be working together to make a better change in Sukamade.
We couldn't do this project by ourself. We need supports and contributions from anybody especially you, the travelers. So by booking one of our tours to Sukamade, it means you're contributing to make a small change in a good way for people in Sukamade. Make them read, make them see the world. As we are Warga Dunia, people of the world.

Avioner @quickchan is living on the "ledge" at the Willis Tower @skydeckchicago. Did you know that it's the highest public viewing area in the United States? It's one of our top activities in the Windy City. #Avioning
Traditional Chinese Opera staged with stylized actions and costumes. It was organized by my uncles and grandpa. Typically perform during religious occasions at temples as part of rituals to deities. It was a challenge to take pictures as I couldn’t stop my eyes from tearing due to the smoke from burning incense. #religion#art#hokkien#natgeo
