Morning lovely people.💗 I was hoping you would all vote for a 9am post at the weekends. But no, it seems you’re all early birds and are voting in my poll for a 7am post. 🤦♀️ It’s still running, so hopefully it might change. Have a great day.
We love this couch that we got for free! Its the perfect size/shape and sooooo comfy (it has passed the snuggle test as well as the pregnant snuggle test). But, I sort of hate the color, there's stains from the previous owner, and the legs are really cool, but just aren't quite the right color of wood!
We're hoping to replace it in the coming months but I'm so overwhelmed with options!
Where have you couch shopped? Any amazing deals to wait for?!
Someone said my style is ugly so I’m like, well it’s a good thing they aren’t invited to dinner. Maybe I don’t fit everyone’s decor style but that’s ok. If you do like it, maybe you’ll want to checkout my fall table scape on the blog 🤷🏻♀️ It’s not just me that’s sharing, there are many other bloggers so there’s lots of inspiration and ideas one could get. I hope you’ll join our #seasonalsimplicity fall series and then sign up for our once a week emails to stay up to date. Or if you think I’m ugly then don’t because then you’d just unsubscribe 🤦🏻♀️ #falltime#lifeonthefarm
Everything we are surrounded with started as a drawing, hey? Like some designer somewhere drafted up the salad tongs and headboard and staircase and tube socks.
So basically we’re living in a giant collaborative drawing!
And all those black lines on the paper are the skeletons of our whole world! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That was deep.

In my first London house, we kept the real fires, burning smokeless fuel. A lovely idea, but such a pain fires were kept for high days and holidays - in reality meaning about three times a year. In the next house, we moved over to gas mock fires. All the joy of a flame and none of the hard work. Now wood burners are increasingly popular even in London, but there are concerns about air pollution and my concern for the Little House would be where to keep the logs: having wood burners in Cornwall, I know they’re hungry beasts. So it will be the easy gas option again. It would be great though if there was one with realistic mock logs rather than coal, then I could put a pile of wood next to the fire as styling. There’s something about stacked logs that makes a room look cosy.
