How do you create spaciousness?☁️
On our mats, we learn how the tiniest micro adjustments can create an experience of more spaciousness. It's in those newfound spaces that we find the capacity for beauty, more radiance, and more connection.
In our lives, as in our practice, enlist tiny micro adjustments to create the space you need this weekend.

This spot took my breath away. I had seen pictures, but they didn’t do it justice. You have to follow specific directions to get to this spot, on the southeast side of Bald Mountain, but the hike was easy.

Road trip: The Grand Tetons | Sept 17, 2018 | We drove from Missoula and through Yellowstone. The last light of the day gave us this view. We set up camp nearby.

The Distrust of Redheads
There are many examples of redheads being stereotyped as untrustworthy in medieval times. The "Proverbs of Alfred" warn not to choose a red-haired person as a friend and the "Secretum Secretorum" warns against using redheads as advisors. Another manuscript, from the 14th century, notes that redheads are rarely faithful in friendship and a work published in 1659 denounced the "vulgar error" of "censuring red-haired men." These ideas of untrustworthiness run parallel with the idea that Judas, Christ's betrayer, had red hair. In fact Judas was frequently portrayed with red hair or a red beard in the artwork of the Middle Ages. For me, having red hair is a mark of uniqueness and my heritage and I’m proud of my ginger whiskers and strawberry blonde hairs regardless what the history books say.

‘Beloved’, said the glorious one, ‘Unless thy desire had been for me, thou wouldst not have sought so long or so truly. For all find what they truly seek.’ After that he said not much but that we should meet again, and I must go further up and further in. Then he turned him about in a storm and flurry of gold and was gone suddenly.

20 minutes before i shot this photo, the only light visible was on the tips of distant mountains. when the sun broke over the horizon, it revealed the rolling fog moving quietly through the trees down below us

Moody Schoodic ☁️🌧 I’m on my way to my last fall color trip of the year and heading back to Great Smoky Mountains/Eastern time zone, which is also my last known jet setting trip this year. Ironically, I’m actually excited to take a break from the time zone hopping and do more “local” stuff between California and Nevada (and possibly Utah). Been wanting a change in lifestyle and routine, and also looking to move into a new (smaller) place (while hopefully saving a ton of money). And continue purging stuff (hey winter cleaning!). And writing. Lots and lots of stuff I wanna write about and share with y’all. And work on this project I have going with Channel Islands Park Foundation to create a (paid) membership program in support of the national park and sharing this special place with a diverse group of people. And doing a better job at volunteering for John Muir NHS on their IG page. And keeping up with my own IG y’all 😂 I always want to post and share more but it’s hard to do when I spend most of the time driving, traveling and socializing on weekends and when I’m back in my work routine, forget it. It’s work and sleep. When I usually have a quiet time with my phone, I’d be on that extended network with no/limited amount of 4G/LTE, or 30,000’ up in the air (like right now) and hit “share” when I’m back on the move. So many unanswered comments, I promise I read all of them in passing and will reply. And work on the relationship + friendship space. Deepening the existing ones and cultivating new ones. And lastly, I also want to work on adding a new forte to my career to add more intersectionality in my career. Thinking about getting additional accreditation and have been flirting with the idea of getting an MBA. I swore after getting my master nine years ago, that’s all the schooling I want to do. So who knows what the future has in store for me 🤷🏻♀️💁🏻♀️ #growth#chchchanges
#TeamUSX’s scuba expedition team members are safely on deck in Florida! Today, they began classes from the Reef Check Foundation to learn a globally standardized scientific protocol for monitoring coral reef health. This weekend, they’ll conduct transect-based survey dives to observe the reefs off of Florida’s Pompano Beach. The data they capture will be analyzed and used locally by marine park managers, nationally by fisheries and environment managers, and internationally by organizations including United Nations agencies. Our team’s work will help these agencies better track and care for coral reefs worldwide.

‘Twas named “The roadie to end all roadies”, and although it was the end for 1 Van, the trip itself was an experience like no other.
Day 1 saw us leaving Banff already 2 days behind schedule 😂 with this hot start we crossed the boarder just after sunset and settled in at the entrance to Glacier national park.
The following morning we awoke to news that the roads were still closed due to heavy snowfall days before... So with that in mind we boosted south towards Yellowstone where it had been a dream of mine to visit ever since I first heard of it.
The day had us exploring through the worlds first national park, seeing its huge Geysers and colourful hot springs all fed by the super volcano laying beneath it.
After leaving Yellowstone we parked up just inside Grand Teton National park where we “rested” for the night at a small rest stop. Welcomed there by a small fox and shooting stars 💫
The look of delight. Delighted to be back in my (second, after Berlin) favorite part of Germany, visiting the fairest castle in all the land in a new season. I’ve seen it in the summer and loved it then, but in the fall with the changing 🍁 it’s somehow even more magical. Exploring Baden-Württemberg’s dreamy and colorful places with @blackdotswhitespots this week 👸🏻👸🏼Catch my stories to see the fall beauty! #visitBaWu#supported
