Every once in a while we receive a wedding submission that totally makes us re-think what we think we know about weddings. Shon & John’s wedding is THIS kind of wedding. First off, there’s the couple, who are each, and together, absolutely amazing. They were friends and business associates for nearly 20 years before realizing they were perfect for each other. Their profound respect, admiration and passion for each other are the kinds that can only grow out of that kind of foundation. And then there’s their wedding…OMG, you guys. We literally could not believe we were looking at the interior of The Corinthian. That’s how astonishingly Plants N’ Petals’ floral and decor transformed this already stunning wedding venue. And forget a gift table y’all: You don’t need one when you’ve asked all of your guests to each donate to their 2 favorite charities in lieu of giving presents (the couple truly put their money where their mouths were by each donating $10,000, themselves, to the charities of their choice at the end of the evening’s festivities). Everything about this wedding, y’all. EVERYTHING. Please make sure to scroll through all 4 gorgeous photos by Pharris Photography, and see the full spread in our new Fall/Winter 2018 issue, on newsstands across Houston now, and @ the digital mag link in our bio. You’ll be glad you did ☺ Congratulations, Shon & John!!!

My number 1 piece of advice to couples on their big day is to do what’s authentic to you ! Are you burger and fries people? Capture that. Love your dog? Bring your fur baby ! Just do you and your love will shine bright ✨/ @forloveandlight
Sleek and sexy. White ink on acrylic frosted invite with our ‘get spotted’ envelope liner. We are living the little cuts in the corners of this modern style master 🕶🕶🕶

I may not have something blue...but you blew me away anyway.
I am so excited to share the results of one of my favourite collaborations with
Thanks for letting me have so, so much fun, and experience the kind of magical day a princess could have if she got to add in a ball pit, a laundromat, and a photographer with the best sense of humor.
NEW BLOG coming out tomorrow! And, DM me with any interesting ideas!
So much love,
Just so romantic, don’t you think? Every brick and window and door in this chapel was brought over from France and put back together again.. Our job was to make the floral look like it had always been here as well. How did we do?
