  • Such a good reminder for the older child and even us as parents. Reading isn't all about fictional characters and fantastical places. It expands our knowledge of people, places, and time and that can still be fun! In fact, it can be liberating! And our children, especially older children, learn this habit by watching us. So take a moment to read and learn something new with your child...together!!

. . . #books #booklover #lovebooks #lovereading #lovereadingbooks #libros #reading #bookstagram #photobook #booknerd #bookaddict #photography #bookphotography #libros #instabook #instaread #lovebooks #book #elsuspirodelinfierno #jenniferlarmentrout #roth

  • "Lei non sa chi sono io" by Mario Baudino ⭐⭐⭐⭐ From Stendhal (Henri Beyle), George Orwell (Eric Blair), Jane Austen and the Brontë Sisters (please, read "Brontë" with an "e", and not an "i", as their father wanted it to be pronounced - and this is why he decided to put a diaeresis on the final vowel - from the Greek βροντή, "thunder"), J. K. Rowling (Robert Galbraith), Mary Anne Evans (George Eliot), Amantine Aurore Lucile Dupin (George Sand), to the several pseudonyms/eteronymes/noms de plume for Walter Scott, George Simenon and other famous writers. Starting from the quote by Romain Gary (Émile Ajar), Baudino leads the discourse to a brief but interesting list of pseudonyms, focusing on the real faces beyond them and providing the historical context and the possible causes of this masking. His work can be considered circulating: in fact, if Baudino opens with Gary/Ajar, he ends with an enquiry on the misterious Elena Ferrante, whose real identity is often related to the translator Anita Raja (which is "Ajar" read backwards). If you are interested and inquisitive, you ought to read this non-fiction book: you will learn many curious things about the secret (or no more secret) identity under the masks of your favourite writers. #books #book #bookoftheday📖 #bookphotograph #bookphotography #bookphotographer #reading #lovebooks #lovereading #lovereadingbooks #igreads #bookworm #homereading #kindle #amazonkindle #andreacamilleri #oradimmidite #letteraamatilda #picoftheday #photography #pic #photo #mood #moodoftheday #Italy❤️ #love

  • Do you have a “tribe”? You know, that group of people you feel comfortable with, look forward to being with, share a common interest with. One of my tribes is this Bookclub. Growing up, I always had a book in my hand. When other kids were playing games, I retreated to the worlds of fantasy, biography, science fiction and make believe. Then life happened— children, a demanding business, volunteer work. Books gathered dust on the shelf, unless they were DYI. Four years ago, I moved to a new community, stopped at the library and rediscovered a part of myself through thoughtful discussions of diverse books with people like me who lose themselves in a story, well told. Like my other tribes that revolve around sustainable farming and fiber arts, this book club feeds my soul and fills me with gratitude for my life. I hope everyone has at least one tribe like this. #bookclub #locallibrary #monticellowisconsin #mybooktribe #lovereadingbooks #enjoyreadingbooks #librariesareawesome #whatisyourtribe

  • "Ora dimmi di te. Lettera a Matilda" by Andrea Camilleri ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "[...] Probably one of the most warm, sincere, genuine, tender (and of course extremely well written and flowing) discourse of a great-grandfather to her great niece about the difficulties of life, between the Fascist period in Italy and the passionate struggles of a young man during his studies and in politics; a strong message that opens one's mind. #books #book #bookoftheday📖 #bookphotograph #bookphotography #bookphotographer #reading #lovebooks #lovereading #lovereadingbooks #igreads #bookworm #homereading #kindle #amazonkindle #andreacamilleri #oradimmidite #letteraamatilda #picoftheday #photography #pic #photo #mood #moodoftheday #Italy❤️ #love

- خولة حمدي 📖🔏 “تجد نفسك تحتاج أن تجرب كل شيئ حتى تبني أفكارك و ثوابتك و أهدافك لتصل إلى السلام الداخلي” “Your find out that your soul needs to experience everything in order to build thoughts and stabilize a goal; that is when you reach inner peace” 🖌 I Love that quote so so much....
