  • Spent a long weekend eating my way through New Orleans. I’ve visited probably a half dozen times, but still feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface. I think *maybe* I have enough opinions to write a full recommendation list though...would anyone be interested?? . This has to be one of my favorite cities. There is so much history and culture and the live oak trees are absolutely beautiful! Despite all the negatives you hear, I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit if you’ve never been to New Orleans ⚜️

  • Living in Louisiana was hard, but leaving it is never easy. These girls are the reason I survived my time here and my heart is so happy I got to see my entire St Francis family ❤️. . The much anticipated NOLA girls weekend was full of good food, jazz bands, excessive humidity and freak rain storms. Aka everything you could ever expect from New Orleans. Oh, and Taylor Swift. She was there too ⚜️🎶 #OneTimeInNOLA

  • Why so dressed up you ask? The answer is 25¢ martinis. Commander's Palace has a pretty strict dress code but that makes sense for a restaurant that's been around since 1893. I'm all smiles for drinks at that price. 📸: @thetastyescape
