  • I receive a lot of messages of people telling me how lucky I am to travel and explore so many places. What you see in my feed every day is the final outcome of a dream and a long series of planning and research to make it real. ••• To save for my travels, I cut down all my expenses (like eating at fancy restaurants, shopping, downgrading to cheaper internet – yes ,this too!, insourcing everything- I don’t buy yogurt & cheese & make it at home instead because it saves money, limit my memberships & subscriptions etc) I plan intensively and in advance so I can get the best flight and hotel deals. I research and research more to not miss any beautiful spot. To get the best shot, I shoot at odd hours like early in morning or late at night when other people are enjoying their morning sleep or chilling at the bar. So what is the point of sharing it with you?! ••• Nothing in life worth having comes easy but if you believe in your dreams then there is nothing that can stop you from making them real!! Life is too short and your dreams are too big, stop thinking and get going!!! 💫 🌟 ••• Also sharing some unbelievable rock formations that resemble real world characters in stories today. Do check them out in Utah/Arizona highlight.

  • Can’t remember the name of the route but I do remember I couldn’t feel my hands and that the stoke was high as the sun dipped behind the mountains and I searched for bolts. Thanks to @daviddenverball for grabbing the camera and getting a photo. A little proof I don’t just take photos of climbers but jump on the sharp end myself. #radclassof92 #theempirestokesback #amongstit

  • If you're rock'n some awesome bangs or your hair drapes across the face be cautious. Breakouts on the forehead can be worsened by hair products and styling pastes because they can coat the skin , irritate and clog the pore. Best bet is to check what's in your products before using them if you are acne prone. See our pore clogging list at UtahAcneClinic.com / Education. . . .

  • ADVANCED CHEMICAL PEEL. You might have seen my story last week, but here is a recap: . . I looked pretty scary day 3-5, but the results are worth it. A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing treatment in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. Basically the chemical solution induces a controlled injury to the skin causing your skin to heal itself. . . I love a good chemical peel because my skin feels soft and fresh afterwards. Chemical peels also speed up cellular turnover, which slows way down as we age. . . Chemical peels will help with acne scarring, texture, pigment, sun damage, acne, and can help with fine lines/wrinkles. No, it does not work like Botox. But it will help smooth out fine lines due to exfoliating off the dead skin. I tell my clients that we need to keep your skin “moving” and turning over. Proper products and treatments will do that.

  • Antelope Island, Utah has some stunning pictures to grab, make sure to give it a visit. - "Antelope Island is surrounded by the Great Salt Lake. The lake is extremely salty, with salt levels reaching as much as 25% of the lake, by volume, so the Great Salt Lake does not support fish, but does support large numbers of brine shrimp which provide food for visiting waterfowl. Because of the high salinity, the island is mostly without readily available fresh water."- Wikipedia - #antelopeisland #discover_utah #visitsaltlake

  • Soaking in a sunrise at Delicate Arch. I’m grateful to have shared this with @katelynnmaxine—it was her first time visiting Arches. This place has been special to me for as long as I can remember, and I’m grateful to have moments like this when the loud conversations bouncing off the rock subside, and there is some peace and respect for the awe of nature. I remember when my family and I would be the only people at the arch on any given night or early morning. Even when others began to trickle in, there was reverence for the beauty. I’m saddened to see the line between the solitude of the outdoors and the noise of the world become blurred. It’s more difficult to escape. I believe we all need a break from the daily hustle to step out of cell range, breathe, and make memories with those we love. Even though it’s hard to see how things have changed for the worse, I’m grateful to have enjoyed such a magnificent place with my sweet Katelynn. Those are the moments I will cherish.(See the most recent post by @chrisburkard dealing with these same feelings)
