praise be to Allah.
The Prophet (S.A.W), peace be upon him, was seen wiping the face of his horse with his gown. When asked why he was doing that, he replied: "Last night I had a reprimand from Allah regarding my horse for having neglected him."

Uqbah bin Amir (R.A) reported that the messenger of Allâh said: "Everything with which a man plays is unlawful except his shooting with arrows, and his training his horse, and his sporting with his wife; and verily these are of the truths." (Tirmidhi)
A man asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Teach me a good deed that will earn me the reward of the Mujahideen in Allah's cause.” The Prophet sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam said, 'Are you able to pray continuously and fast without breaking the fast?' The man said, 'O Messenger of Allah! I cannot bear it.'
The Prophet sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam then said,
'By He in Whose Hand is my soul! Even if you were able to do it, you would not achieve the grade of the Mujahideen in Allah's cause.
Did you not know that the horse of the Mujaahid earns rewards for him as long as it lives?” [Ahmad]
The Messenger of Allah, Nabi Muhammed (S.A.W) said:
"Don't cut short the forelocks of horses, nor of their tails, because the tails keep off the flies, and regarding manes, they keep them warm, and blessings are interwoven with the hairs of their foreheads." (Abu Dawood)
Abu Qatada (R.A) reported that the Messenger of Allah, Nabi Muhammed (S.A.W) said: "The best of horses is black with a white forehead and having a white upper lip, next to that a black horse with a white forehead and white legs. If it is not black, it is a bay (ie. reddish brown - approaching chestnut) horse with these marks." (Tirmidhi)
Abu Hurairah (R.A) narrated that the Messenger of Allah said, "Horses are a reward for one man, a protection for another, a burden for another. The one who has them as a reward is the one who dedicates them for use in the way of Allah, and tethers them in a meadow or grassland. Whatever the horse enjoys of the grassland or meadow in the length of its tether are gud deeds for him. If it breaks its tether and goes over #hydrabad
