Checking out this Monster rock at Mossman Gorge! Does anyone actually know this glorious rock's name?
Today we felt like taking a dip in the beautiful waters at Alligator Creek but alas! It was bone bone bone dry. We desperately need some rain😭 Instead we took a "quick" 30 min detour to the strand for a swim. Next weekend we are heading back up to Paluma to check out big crystal creek. Fingers crossed there is enough water to swim!
I have visited the area of Buderim Forest on a couple of occasions. For the most part the only water that has been around when I have visited is in the stream. However, the last time that I visited it was wet from all directions. Of course the stream was flowing nicely with water, which had freshly fallen, and was in fact still falling.
So it was most definitely a juggling act to get around here today as I wanted to photograph Buderim Falls on this day. So I was not only carrying my camera bag, and tripod but also trying to keep everything dry with a big umbrella. While I did succeed in keeping everything dry it was not quite the fun experience that a walk in the bush usually is.
Today we took a hike up Mt Edwards near Lake Moogerah. It was a steep hike up with the pack on. I always underestimate how much harder hikes will be with Adeline, our food and water all in her pack. All up for a short walk today I carried just over 15kg. Lucky this kid is cute!
