  • I made Krendels with honey and turmeric yesterday. They look like pretzels, I know, but we call these Krendel. When I was a kid mama would sometimes say "Сейчас как кренделей навешаю!" -" I'm going to hang some krendels on you!" It was a threat, and meant I have been naughty, but she never followed with it and I never got krendels hanged on me. Though, I ate plenty of them with great delight.
