My food photography passion
When taking a photo, I tend to look for one of the following: depth, symmetry, color or contrast. All of those things catch my eye to the point where I stop dead in my tracks to capture whatever it is that I've seen.... I feel like I am always catching my breath and saying, 'Oh! Will you look at that?' Photography has been my way of bearing witness to the joy I find in seeing the extraordinary in ordinary life. You don't look for pictures. Your pictures are looking for you
I’ve recently found out about @mrshinchhome_x_ and oh my gosh I can’t stop cleaning my house!! She posts insta stories of her cleaning her house but it’s funny and actually makes cleaning seem enjoyable😂 I’ve made so many trips to b&m and pound stretcher to find all the products she uses!💐🛁
Dinner for 100 in one of the most beautiful homes in England photo courtesy of @whowhatwhit 🌳Sybil Sassoon was born in London, into a Jewish family🌿She was the daughter of Sir Edward Albert Sassoon and Baroness Aline Caroline de Rothschild 🌿She was the sister of the Rt. Hon. Sir Philip Sassoon🌿Who lived in unbelievable splendor, his magnificent balls and banquets filled with Royalty and celebrities were legendary..all set against a background of mingled luxury, simplicity and informality, brilliantly contrived 🌿 With white-coated footmen serving endless courses of rich but delicious food, the Duke of York coming in from golf... Winston Churchill discussing politics with George Bernard Shaw, Lord Balfour dozing in an armchair, Rex Whistler absorbed in his painting... while Philip himself flitted from group to group🌿He never married and was thought to be homosexual (rather shocking that homosexuality was illegal in the UK until 1967 leaving people open to blackmail and the threat of prison)🌿Sybil Sassoon married George Cholmondeley, Earl of Rocksavage, later 5th Marquess of Cholmondeley🌿Lady Sybil's grandson, the current Marquess, developed the gardens in honour of his grandmother🌿 It is based on the signature of Sybil Sassoon. the entwined initials "SS" are represented in the outlines of the clipped box-hedge which surrounds plantings of lavender and rosemary🌿Through her son George Hugh Cholmondeley, Sybil is the great-grandmother of actor Jack Huston🌿 .
