Two roads diverged in a wood and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

Buonasera Igers!

Spending the afternoon working on some new Christmas pallet boards 🎄
Stay Humble 🤙🏼
I can't think of a better way to appreciate and see this remote, frozen continent except in plush robes sipping cappuccinos on board the luxurious #Silvercloud with @silverseacruises . Whether you are in your room enjoying breakfast or on deck, this is your spectacular view! #thisisSilversea

"If I hide in the pillows Monday can't get me right?"
I actually like how productive my Mondays can be with WanderDog but I totally get hiding in the pillows to avoid website work. Keep an eye out for the new products that are happening this productive Monday!

I’ve been aware of some of the negative impact of the fast fashion industry for years. And I’ve honestly ignored all the facts. Yesterday, I watched a very interesting video that described one youtuber’s journey from fast fashion to ethical & sustainable fashion. I did some more research and decided that I am done with fast fashion. I just can’t be someone who fights for human rights & equality while supporting an industry that exploits it’s workers to disgusting degrees. Plus, I’m learning about reducing waste, and textiles from fast fashion are a massive contributor to our landfills. So from now on, I’m going to only buy from thrift stores & ethical companies. I just wish that I had come to this conclusion sooner.
Vrindavan has got me addicted to Lassi!!! I think, never in my life have I ever had so much of it. Not even on my trip to Chandigarh! But here, I like how it's not served very sweet at most of the places. Having said that...I struggle to finish one whole glass. I swear it's damn heavy and filling!
Annnddd the best one I've had so far was at this hawker who sits bang opposite to ISKCON. He adds kesar and rose petals that makes the lassi all the more yummilicious! On your visit to Vrindavan, you should definitely try it.
Enough said. Lassi lovers would relate. 😆
PS - I'm a stronger girl now.

I am a huge fan of spontaneity.
And to be honest, one factor that has remained common on all my trips is - UNPREDICTABILITY.
Like if you guys remember...last year, around this time, I had run a Spiti contest on Instagram. The contest went really well, we had winners, we all left for Spiti and were really excited; until the news of bad weather in Spiti was reported. The roads got blocked and the team had no choice but to cancel the trip.
However, by then I had already left for Delhi from Mumbai and the sight of vast, gorgeous mountains had occupied my mind completely. There was no way I was returning back without visiting them!
I removed my Himachal map, marked places that I'd like to go to and continued solo anyway!
Eventually, a decision was made. Had left for Spiti Valley, ended up going to Tirthan Valley.
Now, no matter how excited I am for a trip, I practice to have no expectations or even imagine it to be of a certain way. Hahah!
Ever experienced anything similar?

Once November hits, each day feels like a celebration. ❤️
Many of you ask me about how I enjoy my trips if I'm supposed to work while on it or vice the versa.
Well, as I work on the go, it's really important for me to bifurcate my time wisely... Firstly - for me, for my love for places, for journeys, for all that I wish to do.
And secondly - to think, research, understand and extract content.
The only way I've been able to maintain a balance between "me time" and "work time" is by taking long term trips. Conventionally, if a traveller requires 1 day to go around a certain place, I take 2 or maybe even 4. Like this, I can divide time to first absorb the place without any intervention and then to know what I want from it.
Fair enough, right? What do you think? Any other idea you'd want to suggest?
