THE USE of silver in medicine dates back thousands of years, and scientists have long known that the metal is a potent antibacterial agent!
Silver ions perform their work by punching holes in bacterial membranes and wreaking havoc once inside. They bind to essential cell components like DNA, preventing the bacteria from performing even their most basic functions. But silver's effect has gone unrecognized—until now. Thanks to #SILVERFRESH: the #first toothpaste from i-Fern with #SilverIon technology!! To uncover this mechanism, scientists first killed a sample of the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa using a solution of silver nitrate. Then, they carefully separated the dead bacteria from the silver solution. When they exposed living bacteria to the dead, they witnessed a microscopic massacre: Up to 99.99% of the living bacteria met their doom!! Problema mo ba ang pabalik-balik na #singaw, #bleedinggums, #tonsilitis, and #badbreath? Enjoy a healthy smile and fresh breath today with the all-natural SILVERFRESH Silver Ion toothpaste!! Exclusive through #iFern.
Gibraltar has been heralded as notably interested in creating a legal infrastructure to regulate cryptocurrency, and in step with this reputation, the Financial Times has announced that Coinfloor is now approved as the first regulated exchange in the country’s ‘groundbreaking’ legislation. According to NewsBTC, Gibraltar is repeating its early adoption approach to blockchain like it did with online gambling early in the 2000s to great financial success. Gibraltar has approved Coinfloor, the oldest crypto exchange in the UK, for the British Overseas Territory, on the basis of the KYC and AML structures they have in place.
While Gibraltar has been trying to cultivate technological innovation and attract crypto development, it will face competition from Malta, another island with increasingly friendly crypto regulation which has already been dubbed ‘crypto island,’ and to which many crypto firms are moving to open up shop in. Also problematic for Gibraltar is the unclear economic status the island faces after Brexit, which UK crypto developers in the UK are already preparing for. Nonetheless, this move certainly indicates that Gibraltar will continue to try to facilitate its fintech sector, and assures Coinfloor a place in the blockchain market of UK and Europe for the likely future.
