Windy cliffside views in the Faroës...🍃 Yesterday we arrived at the airport and went straight for a little hike to this amazing location. It looks even higher and bigger in real life. Today we explored multiple locations including a valley that seemed out of this world. Looking forward to share this! Peace out🤙🏻
‘I’m talking to the sheep as they gawp rudely at me, probably looking at these mad humans climbing mountains on two wheels the same way we would gawp at pictures of bearded, wooly-jumper-clad postmen. The Faroes are brutal. I have a great respect for these islanders, how they’ve carved out remote lives for themselves, using the ocean and land to provide and sustain them, digging tunnels and passes to connect a few villagers here and there. It’s an incredibly dedicated, connected, hardworking and caring people that roam these islands. ‘

Happy times come and go, but the memories stay forever!
Another well known place on the magnificent Faroe Islands - Gásadalur.
But it‘s not just this nice waterfall which makes this village exciting. Since only a few years it is possible to get there by car. Before there was a tunnel you had to hike over the mountains.
Karl out on the sea 🌊 seemingly it was like a natural habitat for him. I have a bit of practice before my sea legs grow out. Filming in these fishing boats and following the Faroese fishers was a great experience and I was great to really get to know these people and the heritage that the fishing has for the Faroe Islands. The hospitality has been beyond great and we’ve been invited to so many peoples home giving us the warmth and opportunity to hear their stories. Such a great people 🇫🇴

This is every Dane I know right now rushing to the store to buy candles for the winter darkness. Also - puffins in the Faroe Islands earlier this year. #faroeislands#puffins#a7rii
I still have a thousand pictures from the Faroe Islands 🇫🇴 but I left my favorite for the end. I will never forget Saksun... especially because the expression am Arsch der Welt finally made sense 😅 PS: NO FILTER. Saksun is just perfect 😋
