Endless lines of tones 🔥
We’d been driving all day, were coming into our destination when midway up one of the steepest roads in NZ the car starts to make a huge thudding sound 💥 Long story short - we broke down in this spot 🗺. AA were trying to organise a tow truck to get us into the town you can see in the distance. The view was too good to turn down, we had the caravan attached so we told them to come and get us in the morning 😂 they worried asking if we were okay? I replied, “mate we are more then fine.” .
Just goes to show that sometimes no plans are the best plans ✌🏼 take the road that appears in front of you and some magical things will happen 🏜 Have an epic Friday everyone, I hope you get to score a sunset similar to this wherever you are! 🔥

This post is a shoutout to all the kind Kiwis out there. 🇳🇿 When you’re away from home, family&friends, common comforts, etc .. the kindness of a stranger goes a really long way & my hope is that I will continue to learn from the people that have extended that kindness to me & pay it forward. Life is just better that way, right?
Yesterday Shane and I were in a parking lot cooking our dinner out of the back of our campervan. A local pulled up and said, “Only in New Zealand will you find something like this, right? Isn’t it great? Where are you from? .. Enjoy your holiday!”
Not even an hour later we were in the grocery, checking out and the cashier asked for my passport in order to purchase our beer. She wouldn’t accept a copy of my passport or my drivers license, so we just said nevermind. 🙄 A local came up to us in the parking lot and said, “Hey, I overheard what happened in there. That’s ridiculous. Can i go in and purchase your beer for you?”
& today Shane was heading out to fish and a young boy (maybe 10-12) came from the area. Shane asked him some questions about catching the eel, he gave him some tips & said he would have to have a regular hook in order to catch one and went on his way. 15-20 minutes later the boy came running up with a makeshift pole on a stick with fishing line and a hook at the end. 🎣 •
Let’s all learn from these beautiful people & make the world a better place by being a bit kinder to strangers. 💙
