  • I’m on a boat! The Delta King boat converted to a hotel to be more precise. Loved staying here!!! Great room and I got to watch the sun come up from the deck this morning. So peaceful. And so many birds to hear! I love it! #livingmybestlife #vacation #roadtrip #deltaking

  • Walk outside. Look right... Beautiful bridge. Look left... Beautiful capitol building (and the Farm to Fork festival starting off). Enjoy a nice lunch time riverfront walk. It's been fun One Cap Mall... Everything except the traffic getting home! Back to 🌹-ville next week! #sactown #sactownpride #californiagirl #towerbridge #deltaking #capitolcity

  • Sacramento’s Tower Bridge. A first for me, a vertical lift bridge, see 2nd image. Though the lift span weighs over 1,000 tons, because of counterweights it only takes 2 - 100 horsepower motors to lift it. Delta King Riverboat, originally christened 1927. #bridge #verticallift #sacramento #deltaking #river #riverboat

  • It's twilight and the gas lights cast strange shadows onboard the great old Mississippi showboat traveling down from Memphis. You are on the Delta King having a gin and tonic watching the sky darken as the moon rises... You join the well-dressed ladies and gentlemen as they gather for dinner, but this isn’t just any dinner - as you soon will see. It is a murder mystery dinner on the historic #DeltaKing #Riverboat Hotel in #OldTownSacramento - on Saturday night, October 20th at 7:30pm. • This event is not being produced by the #ADSC but this is the night that members of the #ArtDecoSocietyofSacramento and #artdecosocietyofcalifornia are encouraged to dress up and make the event something special! • Known as the “Suspects Dinner Theatre”, there is a mystery to solve while enjoying the ambiance, company, and good food. But who are your dinner companions? As the live theatre action takes place all around you, can you be sure someone at your table isn’t a suspect? Try to solve the mystery before anyone else. • Come just for the evening on the Delta King or arrive early Saturday to Old Town and stay overnight and make it a weekend getaway in Old Sacramento! Plan your own itinerary around the evening dinner theatre or coordinate your plans with your Deco friends - there is an array of things to see and do in Old Town within walking distance. Perhaps take the train, or spend the night aboard the Delta King after Saturday’s dinner and awaken ready to explore the sights of Old Town on Sunday. • Make your Suspects Dinner Theatre reservations online (see the designated Art Deco group button). Book your Delta King hotel room separately from the dinner (overnight stay includes breakfast the next morning). Other hotels within walking distance of Old Town include the Holiday Inn and Embassy Suites. Go to www.oldsacramento.com for more suggestions
