The interiors of the Mysore Palace are possibly even more beautiful than the extravagant facade. Our #CNTGiveItAShot for today is this photo of the majestic tinted glass ceiling of the palace, adorned with intricately carved teak woodwork. Don't look at your feet when you visit the palace folks, or you'll miss one of the prettiest ceilings you'll ever see! 📷@eyepoppper

Don't ask us how long we have been together.
How many sunsets we have seen together,
How many trips we have travelled together,
How many cups of coffee we have brewed for each other,
How many silly movies we have watched together and laughed until our stomachs hurt,
How many lame jokes we have cracked to cheer each other up,
How strong we have held on to each other when everything around us was falling apart.
That's how long we have been in love 😍♥️ @cyrilfernandes#Cyfina#Loveletter#TheWickedSoul
I saw her bleed, I saw her cry, I saw her weeping away alone on a dark and cold night. .
She clenched to her pillow like a magnet until she couldn't take it anymore. 'That giggle, that smile, that warmth, that conversation, that first time', it flashed in a series of moving images when we see people waving us pass, while we look outside from the train enrouted to a new destination, a new adventure. /
She cried that night, blaming herself for falling for him ; her blood sugar and pressure level dropped low, she was in dire need of medical attention; fainting she heard his drunken voice echoing in her mind only to wake up to new day, years after when she saw people waving at her while she was enrouted to a new journey on a broken train. /
"Everyone has to leave someday" and that day, she(or maybe me) moved on over the clutches of the sticky past only to touch the sun and fall again. /
Na, my posts aren't driven by my personal experiences. I live life by observing and obsessing over things around myself. I hate when I have to see people waving me(or vice versa, adios to all the unreciprocated bonds) while I move ahead. This journey I am on is a farewell to all of my ole' clutches which have held me back and onset for the new bonds which fill me with positivity. .

Maa Durga arrives every year in her chosen mode of transport or Vaahan. The Vaahan can be a horse, an elephant, a boat or a palanquin. Each of these Vaahan have immense significance as these determine the course of events for an entire nation for the coming year. This year she arrived on a boat. A boat signifies productivity, prosperity and well being. A boat needs water to traverse and hence it also signifies heavy rainfall and flood like situation. The departure this year is likely to happen on an elephant. An elephant also signifies prosperity while economic growth of the nation might suffer here and there.19th Oct'18 is Vijaya Dashami and her date of departure. Bidding adieu to Maa is never a great feeling and every year to make the separation a little less painful we remind ourselves Aschhe Bochhor abar hobe. (We shall wait for you to arrive yet again next year Maa.) #durgapuja2018#dusshera#tripotocommunity#tripotofeaturedtraveller#lonelyplanetindia#cntgiveitashot#travel#festivalsofindia#durga#puja#dashamj#wanderlust#festival#navami
Durga Puja is actually, a celebration of ‘life’ and the joy of ‘living’ more than anything else. It’s like all the joys of this ‘city of joy’ is out on its very streets. Durga Puja becomes an expression of the city itself. It is almost that the city bursts into laughter during these few days.

Who'd have thought this was October?
I was up in Chester for a couple of days, and while there was a wee nip in the air, it's been cheerful and sunny.
The main city area is worth a wander as well - cobbled stones and a two tier outdoor shopping area with tons and tons of old half timber structures.
I've never seen Superdrug in a cooler building than in Chester.
Loads of indie coffee shops and boutiques pepper the more mainstream brands.
