  • 💬 How do you most often spend your Saturday nights? Do you go out? Spend the night at home? . I used to always go out Saturday nights. But since I became a mother, I now spend my weekends at home. I honestly don’t mind it one bit. 🤓🖤🍷📖 . I’m so excited to have this gorgeous baby in my hands!! Romanov releases in May 2019 and I couldn’t be more excited to read it!! 🤗 Is this one on your TBR? . Thank you to @nadinebrandes & @thomasnelson for gifting me this ARC copy! ♥️ ________________________________________________________ 📖Summary: From the author of Fawkes comes a magical take on the story of Anastasia Romanov. . The history books say I died. . They don’t know the half of it. . Anastasia “Nastya” Romanov was given a single mission: to smuggle an ancient spell into her suitcase on her way to exile in Siberia. It might be her family’s only salvation. But the leader of the Bolshevik army is after them . . . and he’s hunted Romanov before. . Nastya’s only chances of survival are to either release the spell, and deal with the consequences, or enlist help from Zash, the handsome soldier who doesn’t act like the average Bolshevik. Nastya’s never dabbled in magic before, but it doesn’t frighten her as much as her growing attraction for Zash. She likes him. She thinks he might even like her . . . . That is, until she’s on one side of a firing squad . . . and he’s on the other. ________________________________________________________ #nadinebrandes #romanov #cozyfeels #booksofinstagram #autumnal #booklover #bookpage #thebookstagram #cosy #readersofinsta #flatlayforever #reader #libraryofinstagram #ilovebooks #bookish #bookaesthetic #ofquietmoments #mybeigelife #becauseofreading #bookreviewer #cozy #fallishere #autumn #booksbooksbooks #bookfeaturepage #cozyvibes #youngadultbooks #postitfortheaesthetic

  • “Failure isn’t a necessary evil. In fact, it isn’t evil at all. It is a necessary consequence of doing something new.” - Ed Catmull, Creativity, Inc. . . Failure is part of the process. Don’t let it stand in the way of doing something special! 🔥✌🏼 . . Shoutout to @allen for sending me a copy of his fantastic book “The Creative Curve”. Highly recommended for anyone doing creative work! ♻️🚀

  • Ever since I was a child I had a love for books and writing. The first time I decided to write a novel was 2 years ago and it was such a great practice that helped me with finishing my most recent novel. Writing however, goes deeper than that for me. . Since I was a child I struggled with severe #depression and at 22 I started therapy for the first time. Though I had always loved writing, going to therapy enhanced my love for writing and played a huge role in my healing. . In 2016, I published my first book Rivers Are Coming, a collection of essays and poems on healing from depression and trauma ( #linkinbio). Since then, I have been writing non stop and decided to write my first novel which is women’s fiction. . I would love to know a little more about you. Are any of your currently writing a #novel or in the hopes of writing one? Leave a comment below and let me know! : : #bookish #bookclub

  • Hello book lovers! ☕️ I feel like I need a new greeting with this change but oh well, let’s take this one(ish) step at a time. I thought I would start off this new theme with a non bookish photo that makes me happy, as well as an explanation of where this account is going from here. ✨ • I have been basically absent now for almost a month due to numerous reasons but with my main three being: 1. No time for new content. 2. No time to read books for pleasure. 3. No time to keep up with everyone on here. I am in my final year of university and have forced myself to the acceptance that graduating is my priority and that the fun of this account (and my blog and YouTube) are for the free time when I don’t have other priorities. Therefore, I plan on using this feed to show my creativity more than just saying these are the books that I have been reading. Reading books quick that I want to read just isn’t an option lately and that’s okay. You don’t lose your “label” as a reader if you can’t read as often as you like. Don’t force yourself into it - use it as an escape. ✨ I have a whole feed of photos lined up now after feeding my creativity cravings this morning which is so exciting and I can’t wait to hear what all of you think. I’ll try my best to slowly start catching up with everyone as I do miss you all dearly but thank you for being so understanding of my time away. x • ☕️ What are your favourite hobbies besides reading?

  • Study break feat. festive treats ☕️🎄 School has come back with vengeance, so I thought I'd stop by @cafehaven_sp for a change of atmosphere to work on my assignments. I was inspired by @unpluggedbookbox where I'm always reminded to take care of me first, especially when life gets crazy ❤️ ... QOTD: Anyone else feel the end-of-semester crunch? How do you deal with the stress? Comment down below! 😄 ... Until next time, lovelies 😘

  • Any @marianazapata fans out there? Did you see? We have a cover for her upcoming book (as soon as next week)!!!! Here’s the synopsis: The problem with secrets is that they’re too easy to keep collecting. Luna Allen has done some things she would rather no one ever know about. She also knows that, if she could go back in time, she wouldn’t change a single thing. With three sisters she loves, a job she (mostly) adores, and a family built up of friends she’s made over the years, Luna figures everything has worked out the way it was supposed to. But when one of those secrets involves the man who signs her paycheck, she can’t find it in her to regret it. Despite the fact that he’s not the friendliest man in the world. Or the most patient. Sometimes there are things you’re better off keeping to yourself. I’ll be sure to post when the book is live! #marianazapata #lunaandthelie #slowburb

  • “He thinks he’ll be remembered as the villain in the story. But I forgot to tell him that the villain is usually the person who locks up the maiden and throws away the key. He was the one who let me out.” 🖤 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY FAVORITE HIGH LORD OF ALL TIME, THE ONE AND ONLY RHYS!!!!! 🖤 Apparently it’s Rhysand’s birthday today, so I thought that must prompts a post! This book is the book I’ve reread most times since reading it for the first time 2 years ago. It shows selflessness and such a huge amount of character development. It’s my fave. And no, I don’t keep track of characters bdays, but it popped up on my feed and I thought why not! 🖤 And oh yes, Rhysand is the reason I’ll die forever alone with cats and books 🙃 (that includes Rowan and Jamie Fraser)!

  • Hello bookworms 🧡 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do you have any good Christmas books recommendations? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - I have honestly lost a lot of my motivation and inspiration for bookstagram. The algorithm is killing me lately. How does some of my posts only have a reach of 400 people, when 10K people have chosen to follow me? It’s so demotivating, and tiring. Like, why even try to make good content when it’s not even going to reach the people that actually want to see it? The same with people I follow, I don’t see the posts of 90% of the accounts that I actually follow. Then why even bother? Ever since the new algorithm came, I’ve been waiting patiently for it to make sense, but it still hasn’t happened yet. I just can’t believe that something that was fine to begin with, gets ruined for no reason at all.. Anyways, I hope you are all having a great week so far 🖤

  • @25infive's inspiration when they thought of our co-curated theme, SILENCE IN THE SNOW. • Our themes & descriptions are rather abstract, but our goal is to write a description that resonates with you. Feelings are complex and require more than just a few adjectives to describe them. That's why we write prosey descriptions, the big picture of which, we hope, capture the essence of the feeling so you can choose which one resonates with you. • DESCRIPTION: You wander into a crowd of trees. Tall pines with boughs weighed down with snowfall. The soft crunch of winter beneath your feet while steamy puffs of air drift around you as you exhale. The silence of the wintry woods draws you in as it does the traveler in Robert Frost's "Stopping in the Woods on a Snowy Evening." You can hear the wind blowing through the trees, echoing, ominous, every noise magnified by the silence of the snow. Above you the winter sunlight reflects on the snow. Your nostrils sting with fresh, crisp air, and you pause to take it all in — the gentle evergreens standing sturdy against a backdrop of pure white. In the stillness, you are met with a thick silence. For the first time in a long time, you feel heard. • Pick up this capsule, on sale on Black Friday so you can get it in time for the @25infive readathon! And participate in our collaborative giveaway. The post is on the @25infive feed & is shared in our story!
