Age 21-Age 24🙈
70 lbs difference. 🤗🙏🏼
I never really noticed how unhealthy I had gotten. When I was 18, my best friend passed away in a car accident. I wasn’t really sure how to cope so age 18-21 was an extremely dark time for me. I was working as a waitress and would grab unlimited amounts of breadsticks, french fries, you name it. Then, after work I would go through drive thrus religiously..eating until I felt sick. When I turned 21, I drank my fair share of alcohol. That’s when I really started noticing the weight gain. Not only did I notice it..but people around me. It hurt me so much when ppl would make comments like, “oh wow you’re really gonna eat that” or “you’ve gained a lot of weight” & the list goes on..I started to feel sick..almost all of the time, my body just felt different. I went into the doctor in September of 2015, they told me to start logging what I was eating. That of course crushed me. I started to hate myself and my reflection. I struggled a lot with self love and feeling worthy....
One day, I decided it was enough. I bought an at home workout program and finished my first workout. I remember sweating like crazy..hardly able to catch my breath. But the biggest memory I have..is how it felt afterwards. That overwhelming feeling of accomplishment. I felt so proud of myself. I never wanted that feeling to go away. Still to this day, I can’t get enough of that feeling. I’m fighting everyday to become better. I’m the type of person who’s never completely satisfied. Of course I’m proud of what I’ve done, but I know I’m just getting started. This is only the beginning. ❤️ #throwbackthursday#transformationthursday

About four years time in my case and I'm thankful for every minute of waiting for the happiness to return. .
I grew into a person unrecognizable to friends and family and also myself.
But looking in the mirror today, and at photos from the past month, I can see the light shining through the darkness again. .
Only way from here on out is U P.
Saw a girl on IG say she gained 30lbs of muscle and what's even more amazing was that she said it was all glutes🤪 Or the guys that are on 💉💊 that can't keep it real and lie about be natty🤣 All to get your to buy their programs. For starters, knowing the TRUTH about the legitimate rates and limits of muscle growth allows you to know when you’re being lied to by a product, program, supplement, or Instagram guru claiming you can build muscle faster than you actually can. Seeing as this is something that probably 95% of all products/programs/supplements/gurus do every single day, I want to make sure people are aware before falling for false promises and bullshit claims. Knowing the true rates and limits of muscle growth allows you to have realistic expectations for your own progress and set realistic goals.
Average Natural MAN: a total of about 40-50 pounds of muscle in their life.
Average Natural WOMAN: a total of about 20-25 pounds of muscle in their life.
Average Natural MAN: between 0.25 and 0.5 pounds of muscle per week (or about 1-2 pounds of muscle gained per month).
Average Natural WOMAN: between 0.12 – 0.25 pounds of muscle per week (or about 0.5-1 pound of muscle gained per month).
Remember that we’re talking strictly about MUSCLE here, not WEIGHT. You could obviously gain a whole lot more weight than muscle in your life time. Also, remember it says average. There are always rare exceptions that might either exceed or never come close to reaching these amounts, and there’s a handful of factors that influence what these numbers will be for you specifically. The rate you can expect under the best possible circumstances. Meaning, an ideal muscle building workout routine and diet, an ideal amount of sleep every night, rest, recovery, consistency, lack of stress, and so on. Basically, when everything is done as perfectly as it could be, this is how fast you can expect to build muscle.
6 Factors That Affect Your EXACT Rate & Limit Of Muscle Gain
1. Steroids/Drugs: when you see crazy claims of muscle growth (like every product/supplement claims) or see people who have clearly exceeded the rates and limits mentioned above... *continued in comments*
Yesterday I spent my whole day worried about tomorrow’s problems. Today I spent it trying to feel a little brighter. Stay Positive, everything always works out in time 💕
Ayer pasé todo el día preocupada por los problemas de mañana. Hoy me la pasé tratando de sentirme un poco más brillante. Mantente Positiva, todo se resuelve con tiempo✨
Growing up I loved music and always found time to spend learning an instrument or listening to it. And guitar has been my # 1 choice, it was the quickest I learned and it was just so special in so many different ways! There has been a season in my life, when music became an art I didn’t enjoy anymore. It was always the last thing on my mind, and I didn’t ever have time doing what I use to love.. BUT this past few weeks, i felt God was restoring my passion, through prayer and seeking Him..He gave us these things to enjoy in life, but we with our human minds sometimes don’t see the bigger picture, we began to doubt ourselves and not glorifying God through what we do. THERE IS SO MUCH GOOD GOD HAS PLACED IN EVERY SINGLE ONE! If you seek it, you will find it! •
This has been one of the most challenging season I went through! And I’m so happy to say it is done ✅ 😆
