What’s a trip to Italy without a photo of a castle built in 139 AD? Castel Sant’Angelo was used as a fortress (FORTRESS!) by the Pope in the 14th century seeking refuge from a siege on Rome. He had a secret tunnel (SECRET TUNNEL!) built which runs from The Vatican to the castle. I spent a good hour in there today pulling down on fake books and lifting the chins of statue heads (1966 Batman reference) which would hopefully open the entrance to the hidden passage. No such luck. The search continues... 🧐
Finishing touches on a mantle piece installation. So clever of Kate to have bought this mantle piece and put it against a white wall so she can practice often and dedicated herself to regular practice and skill development. Trying to make sure my eyes and ears are always open to learn, to not think I have arrived at my final destination but to constantly be trying to learn and apply new concepts and skills. Although, as an extreme OCD/perfectionist sometimes I need to practice just being content too with what I’m producing presently! 🙊Has anyone in the photography industry completed any helpful online courses? Whether it be concerned with photography skills, editing, business management, marketing etc. I would love to hear them! Happy Thursday, lovely followers ✨

I’ve always thought your biggest enemy is yourself. The things we come up with in our minds most of the time is based on fear, insecurity, lies from the accuser himself... try to not listen to the other person. He’s your real enemy. Speak life to yourself. Tell yourself your worth is valuable and you are created in the image of God. Be blessed this thanksgiving and remember your worth!
