👉 Happy 128th birthday to Yosemite! 6 days, 1100+ miles, ~1000 photos taken w/ my 📸 bro @_faiaz exploring Bay area + Central-Northern California. Adventures included offroading with my @jeep, getting stuck on a beach beneath cliffs in the dark near Golden Gate and chasing sunsets for golden hour lighting. This was my 2nd time visiting Yosemite and our plans had to adapt to the Fall scenery as popular waterfalls had dried up. Special thanks to @nationalparkservice for location scouting for photography.
👉 Over the next few weeks/months I'll be sharing what I feel is my best work yet, as I've learned a great deal from a creative talent. This is a long expo of Half Dome's reflection on Merced River with a @mytyfoto 0.5 - 9 stop variable Nd filter on @manfrottoimaginemore Element Traveller

Alright, this is the last of the shots from McConnell’s Mills for now. Going to be posting photos from my trip to West Virginia this past weekend with @hershmyberger and @euro_kid. Hoping to add more peak colors to the feed this weekend!
SHARK FIN ✨
👉 Time and water - that's all it took to form this unique shark fin shaped rock through erosion. As the sun set on a Fall day with clear skies, the sole rock gave off a rich red tone. Make memories and leave nothing but footprints - always. 🙏

Chionophile: a person who loves cold weather, snow.
just over a week ago, I packed all my camping and camera gear into my truck and drove 4 hours south to the Tetons to camp in sub-freezing temperatures and meet up with a few photographers I had never met before to adventure and take photos. this past weekend I did the exact same thing, only this time I drove 5 hours north to Glacier National Park.
both times, it was worth every second.
once again, I’ve found myself utterly blown away by this strange thing called life. good people and amazing places are everywhere, and the experiences that can be had by combing the two are truly incredible.
here’s one of those people in one of those places having one of those experiences.
shot ‘in camera’ with a new method i’ve been experimenting with. plan to test it out with some b&w film next.

Taking a break from the mountains to give some necessary attention to our other love. Friend of The Goodland @max_hinton capturing an awesome one of @russellbierke getting low at Cloudbreak. Make sure to give Max a follow and some love for his perspective and passion on the beauty of the ocean

May you build many bridges in your life that are good crossings. 🙏🏼 Memories from a hiking trip that started at 4am to catch an amazing sunrise. There’s some spectacular about hiking in the dark to be greeted by beautiful rays at the end of your trek.
Little cascades leading to Hell’s Hollow falls at McConnell’s Mills.
A tad early for fall color on this trip a couple weekends ago, but I’m looking forward to getting back out this weekend to find some peak foliage!
Have you ever felt so much love that you thought there was nothing that couldn’t be conquered? That level of trust and confidence feels so amazing! Gotta silence that internal dialogue and keep that self love crushin’ you up that mountain or through that lame work day! Loves 💚
