As days getting shorter, temperature dropping lower and snow starting to fall in the mountains, it means winter is coming soon. I'm going to miss a lot on these days hiking/backpacking with some good friends. I'm never a big fan of hiking in snow (don't @ me), but I hope to explore as much as I can this winter✌️

Up until today I still can't make much sense of this place. A massive rock formation rising 1583ft in the middle of nowhere. It was eerie when I arrived at night by myself and overwhelming when I woke up in the morning.
Wherever I travel I always try to find lakes. To me they are special and even spiritual. Typically, where there is a mountain, there is a lake✌️
Here's to another beautiful sunrise and sunset and beautiful day in between✌️

An 80ft (24m) waterfall meets the ocean. Big Sur might be the most beautiful stretch of coastline I've ever seen. I don't know how it took me so long to see this place.

Utah is a wild place...it might be a place on Earth that you'd think it's a different planet once you step your foot on it. I shot this from a few miles away to demonstrate the scale of this feature. Can you spot the tiny cars down there?

No matter how far I travel, I'm always grateful that I have a beautiful backyard like this to come back to in each season✌️

First time at Sequoia NP I was treated with this killer sunset. You guys might have seen my previous ig story of me running upstairs out of breath trying to catch this sunset and I'm so glad I didn't miss this one. I don't remember exactly but it seems it lasted forever. It was for sure a sight to behold✌️

Most of the time, the subject in my shots are very small in order to show the scale of the landscape. I somehow like this photo because it's a candid moment of me walking around happily searching for some unique compositions at this popular spot. As the sun rises the light changes so fast I hurried up to set up my camera to take some "selfies" and this became my favorite moment from this morning✌️

I've alway wondered if there's a cocktail called "Crater Lake Sunset" you know what I mean😉

When you first think of Arizona what comes to your mind? To me it's a desert or the grand canyon. This trip to Arizona changed this image completely as I spent early morning chasing the Aspen trees in Flagstaff near Humphrey Peak then doing this hike in the beautiful Sedona where there's mountains and winding roads just like what I've experienced in the PNW. Devils bridge is the largest natural sandstone arch in Sedona, Arizona. Hope you get to walk on this bridge for yourself one day!

Today I'm starting my drive up north back to Seattle from a remote place in Utah. The adventures in the desert have been incredible but I can't wait to shower and sleep on my own bed😅New photos coming up soon!
